The 8th International Fair of Gastronomy and Equipment for Hotels & Restaurants TOP GASTRO & HOTEL 2014, which will take place under the auspices of the Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants on February 20 - 23, 2014, in parallel with the 23nd HOLIDAY WORLD 2014 tourism fair at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague, Holešovice.
The TOP GASTRO & HOTEL fair is one of the most important events of its industry in the Czech Republic. In recent years the fair has enjoyed dynamic growth; in 2013 a total of 166 exhibitors from 9 countries participated in the fair and the number of visitor exceeded 33,000.
We have newly designated the left wing of the industrial palace and the Křižík pavilion B for the forthcoming fair, and they will be thematically divided as follows:
Left wing of the industrial palace - PROFI ZONE – presentation of companies with a focus on equipment and furnishings for hotels, pensions, restaurants and furnishing and operation of gastro establishments
Left wing of the industrial palace - DRINK & DELICACIES ZONE – presentation of companies and distributors of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, products of Czech and international gastronomy
Left wing of the industrial palace - TOP CAFÉ & BAR ZONE - this area will host the barman show and Barista Open competition as well as the Coffee Master competition, as has become tradition, along with demonstrations of the preparation of coffee and coffee beverages, coffee tastings, presentations by a number of coffee producers and coffee preparation equipment
Křižík’s Pavilion “B” Program pavilion - for the first time will host the “Chef of the Year” and “Pastry Chef of the Year” competitions, which will take place in partnership with the Czech Association of Chefs and Pastry Chefs. In cooperation with the professional partner, T&M Creative, s.r.o., we are preparing a special gastronomy program: an interactive gastronomy studio called GASTRO TOUR. The gastro studio’s program will include Czech as well as international cuisine. The participants will have the opportunity to get information on how to improve the standard of gastronomy services and the profitability of their establishments.
